Give a Nod to the Trends this Spring

A common concern from our clients, is that they don’t want to look like mutton dressed as lamb, but neither do they want to look frumpy.  The high fashion looks on the catwalk can seem a million light years away from your lifestyle, however an Integro Fashion Forecast will show you which of the key trends are really wearable for you and how easy it is to keep your look updated and stylish for 2012.

Clothes Swap Update

Well…what a night, we swapped til we dropped

A massive thank you to all(over 100!) of you who supported our Clothes Swap Event on 28th September.

A great time was had by all – watching our Charity to Catwalk Fashion Show, beautifully modelled by the fabulous Chas volunteers and eagerly swapping .  As the saying goes “One woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure!”

The fantastic news from CHAS is that we raised a whopping £1059.62 to date.

So,  thanks to all of you for making that happen.

Congratulations also to our “Hostess with the Mostest” who won 2 hours of our time, as she had the highest sales at one of our Accessories Parties from June til September.

There was a real buzz about the night and we have had lots of good feedback already, but we would love to know your thoughts.

Swapping:The Savvy Way to Shop Wednesday 28th September from 7pm at The Windlestrae Hotel, Kinross, Tickets £5

This year, due to popular demand we have decided to expand our annual Birthday Bash where we showcase our Autumn Winter range.

All those of you out there who have been styled by us, have been asking for a Clothes Swapping event for years.  We all have some clangers in our wardrobe that we know no longer (or maybe never did!) suit us – but as the saying goes one woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure, so help us raise money for CHAS by delving into the depths of your wardrobe and coming along to this fun evening.

It’s a win win – you clear your closet, you have a fun night out with friends, you help raise money for a fab cause, you help save the planet and you might even find yourself some style treasures!!

Tickets are selling fast, so get in touch to reserve yours.  We know some of you “classic wardrobe personalities” out there are worried about the rules ( and the dress code of their trash!) Hope this helps:

How many items should I bring?  Please bring 5 carefully worn garments on hangers. NB a suit counts as 2 items.

Does it have to be designer?  No.  This is a fun fundraising evening – we are not attaching monetary value to the items, but we do request that the garments you bring are clean and in good condition(no buttons missing etc).

Do I have to bring 5 items?  Yes, to make the event a success for everyone we need a wide range of styles & sizes, but if you really want to come and don’t have 5 items please give us a call and we will see what we can do.

What else is happening on the night?  We will be showing you how to make the Autumn Winter trends work for you, as well as being on hand to offer style advice on your finds!

There will be a fashion show using CHAS clothes and us showing you how the stylists turn charity to catwalk.

Also, a raffle for CHAS with some great prizes.

There will also be a nutritionalist on hand to offer advice.

Summer Trends 2011

Here is a snapshot of a few of this Summers Key Trends and how to make them work for you.

COLOUR BLOCKING

  • Keep colours not in your palette, away from your face – try coloured trousers or skirts.
  • If you are not brave enough to wear head to toe colour, add pops of colour with accessories – bold bags, necklaces and scarves will ensure you look on trend.
  • To keep your look chic – select your best neutral and team it with one colourful piece.

WHITE a summer staple – A Friend or Foe?

  • A fab, fresh look for spring. But remember, pure white close to the face is not flattering for all – it can leave you looking washed out.
  • Remember, light colours will draw attention and widen, so be careful on which parts of your body you wear them to create balance.

THE NEW NAUTICAL- This is a classic look that comes around each spring.

  • This year bring it up to date by introducing new colours into the mix such as corals, turquoises and all shades of green.
  • Also, try mixing spots and stripes.
  • Just make sure, you think about where you wear your horizontal stripes. Here is a snapshot of a few of this Summers Key Trends and how to make them work for you.COLOUR BLOCKING
